Sushmita Sen started her career as a model. In 1994, she took part in Femina Miss India at the age of 18. She won the title of Femina Miss India Universe. After that, Sushmita took part in Miss Universe as a contestant. She won the title of Miss Universe in 1994. She was the first Indian to win the title of Miss Universe.
